Over the toilet shelves is a practical solution to the problem of limited storage space bath. Sometimes called a bathroom étagère is an open shelving unit that rests on the floor and around the toilet tank. The shelving unit typically has multiple shelves for storing toiletries, towels and toilet paper. The bottom shelf is removable for easy access to the toilet tank. To achieve a primitive or rustic look, the unit is built without routed edges or decorative molding trim. The finished shelf unit can be painted to complement the decor of your beautiful etagere bathroom design.

Measure and note the width of the toilet tank when you make etagere bathroom design. Add 3 inches to that dimension to calculate the length of the shelves. Table 1 Cut a 3-by-48 in six lengths of 8 inches. These tables will become narrow support rails for the ends of the shelves. Apply glue to one side of each supporting rail. Centre support rails with notches on the boards so that the top edge of each support rail is aligned with the lower edge of the shelf positioning lines. Place a weight on each rail to prevent rail from moving as the glue dries. Now, you can enjoy your best etagere bathroom design.
